IT WASN'T an easy journey, but after 10 weeks of hard work Chris Bath feels like a new man.

The 30-year-old put his mental and physical strength to the test when he decided to lose weight.

"I wanted to lose weight for my wedding, I wasn't happy with how I looked," Chris said.

That's when he heard about Australian Sports Nutrition's 10 Week Body Transformation Challenge, and decided to take it on.

Chris started at 113.9kg in February, and had lost weight by the time his wedding came around in March, and at the end of the challenge was 96kg.

"I was over moon about how much I had lost," the Rockhampton man said.

But it wasn't easy to reach his goal, having to give up his cravings of soft drink and takeaways.

"It's hard to give those up; that was my biggest issue," he said.

"The first couple of weeks were hard to change; but the cravings are gone, I wouldn't say I wouldn't eat (takeaway) but it's not a necessity for me."

Chris put all of his effort into losing the weight and it's paid off. Not only does he love his new look and the way he feels, but he ended up getting chosen for the top 50 body transformation's in Australia through the ASN challenge.

The challenge had Chris change his diet, sticking to vegies, and hitting the gym every morning with his trainer.

Chris said he wouldn't have gotten to where he was without his Be Proud Bootcamps and Personal Training, and ASN Rockhampton.

His words of advice for anyone looking to tackle their weight issue, is to "get a trainer, get a diet plan and stick with it".
