Wet weather continues to batter the region

WET weather continues to batter the region, with Rockhampton recording more than 30mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Gladstone Airport has recorded over 100mm of rainfall in the same time period.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, rain will continue across the region today with up to 50mm possible in coastal areas.

Tomorrow should be partly cloudy across the Capricornia District and there is a chance of showers in the north in the morning and afternoon.
