What a croc! Sandy Creek giant spotted while crossing bridge
CASSY Gottfried couldn't believe her eyes, but it was true - a crocodile in Sandy Creek.
She triple-checked the creek just to be sure.
Despite having lived in the region for most of her life it was the first crocodile she had seen in the wild.

Ms Gottfried said she was pleased to be well away from the not-so-gentle giant while snapping a photo from the bridge on the Bruce Highway this week.
"You wouldn't want to be anywhere near it," she said. "I'm a pretty keen fisherman but I'm not sure I will be going fishing again - not anytime soon anyway.
"I know there's quite a few cows that go down there, he's probably having a good feed."
