What would go on the Queensland Monopoly board?

Brisbane? Where is regional Queensland's edition?
Brisbane? Where is regional Queensland's edition?

IT IS a truism for those of us living in regional Queensland -- Brisbane gets everything.

And today the state capital even scored its own Monopoly edition, with South Bank named as the luxury Mayfair equivalent.

Park Lane became the Story Bridge, and the cheapskate spots Old Kent Road and Whitechapel have become Mt Coot-Tha and Fortitude Valley.

So far there are no plans for a regional Queensland edition, but a spokeswoman said it was possible if there was interest.

Obviously a regional version would include the Sunshine Coast's Big Pineapple, the Great Barrier Reef, and Fraser Island.

The Bundaberg Rum distillery and perhaps a sugar mill or two would have to be on the cards.

Noosa and Hayman Island would have a solid shot at winning the dark blue corner of the board, but the others would be up for grabs.

What would you include? Where would be your cheap spots, your luxury hot spots and what would be your rewards or punishments in chance and community chest?
