Which bank delays health pay run?

THE Commonwealth Bank has this morning advised Queensland Health that a Commonwealth Bank processing error has affected health's pay run.

The bank has apologised for the error and promised Queensland Health that it will pull out all stops to fix its error immediately.

Queensland Health is working with the Commonwealth Bank, which is responsible for distributing health pay once the pay-run is complete, to determine the cause of the problem.

The Queensland Health pay run was processed smoothly yesterday and complete files transferred to the Commonwealth Bank for distribution.

Commonwealth Bank acknowledged receipt of the pay run files, advised Queensland Health they were being processed, and transferred the money out of Queensland Health's account for distribution to staff.

Unfortunately, despite Queensland Health having paid the money to the bank, the bank has not successfully transferred the money to our staff, due to a bank processing error.

This means that staff may have experienced pay problems even if they are not Commonwealth Bank customers.

The Commonwealth Bank has advised it is working to fix the problem and to ensure staff receive their pay as soon as possible.
