Why you need to have an orgasm every day

Listen up folks, a recent study claims that if we have sex at night we'll boost our, er, performance at work the next day.

The research published in the Journal of Management suggested that the benefits of sex at night put people in better moods the next day.

Of course, this meant people felt better about their jobs and were more engaged at work. Sound familiar?

The study found that those oh-so-sweet feelings sex produces have multiple benefits making it a worthwhile activity like exercise or clean eating.

"Twenty years ago, tracking your steps or caloric intake would have seemed strange or obsessive," the study's lead author, Keith Leavitt has said.

"If you want to increase wellbeing, this is something we should be giving more thought."

Now for the best bit: you don't need a partner.

O'Actually, a website all about improving female sexual pleasure has jumped on the study's bandwagon, and suggests you take a so-called Pleasure Pledge and give yourselves one orgasm every day.

Their aim is for you to make it part of your everyday routine - you know, like your yoga class - so it's top of mind.

To participate in the pledge, you're asked to commit to having an orgasm a day whichever way you like - by yourself, with your partner, in the shower, in your garden ...whatever floats your sex boat.

The program is believed to help women get more in touch with their bodies while deepening their connection to their sexuality.

Go on, give it a try. Your health will thank you for it.
