Woman, 23, dies after stabbing in Logan City home

POLICE are investigating the suspicious death of a woman at a home in the Logan City suburb of  Boronia Heights overnight.

Around 11.30pm, police were called to a Victor Street address where they found a 23-year-old woman with a serious stab wound.

Officers administered first aid, but the 23-year-old Southport woman died at the scene.

Forensic officers are on scene and investigations are continuing.

A 41-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man, who are both known to the victim, are currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Charges are expected to be laid later on Monday.
