Woman, 37, charged for ice in car during highway patrols

A WOMAN has been charged  for allegedly carrying ice in her car while on her way to Mackay.

It's alleged the 37-year-old had 19.9 grams of ice (including packaging weight) in clip seal bags and plastic containers.

Police pulled the woman over during highway patrols on the Bruce Highway at Aldershot around 2.30am Thursday.

The woman has been charged for the possession of dangerous drugs.

She is expected to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court at a later date.
