Woman airlifted after being trapped under rolled ATV

A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after becoming trapped under an ATV south-west of Mackay overnight.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said two crews responded to the accident at a property on Grantward Road at Hibernia, between Capella and Clermont just after 7pm.

He said crews worked to free a woman trapped under an ATV that had rolled and were at the scene for close to four hours.

Queensland Ambulance crews also attended with a spokesperson confirming a woman aged in her 50s was airlifted to Rockhampton Base Hospital with a shoulder injury.

She was in a stable condition.
