Woman accussed of harassing witness in greyhound inquiry

A RIVERVIEW woman has been charged with interfering with a witness as police continue to investigate the greyhound racing industry. 

Detectives attached to the join Queensland Police Service and RSPCA Greyhound Racing Inquiry Task Force claim the 41-year-old sent harassing text messages to a witness involved in a stalking investigation.

The woman is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigations are continuing and the Task Force urges anyone with information about live baiting practises, whether historic or current, to come forward and assist the investigation.

Police attached to the Task Force are actively monitoring social media sites to ensure appropriate behaviour is adhered to.
