Woman stabs another in the neck in Allenstown dispute

A WOMAN has been charged after stabbing another woman in the neck during a dispute in Allenstown yesterday.

Around 3.30pm, a 44-year-old woman became involved in a dispute with a man at a unit complex on Upper Dawson Road.

Police will allege a woman has stabbed the woman in the neck with a broken bottle.

She was transported to the Rockhampton with non life threatening injuries.

A 40-year-old Woorabinda woman has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on November 25.
