Woman taken to Bundaberg Hospital in critical condition

A 67-YEAR-OLD woman suffered significant leg injuries after a multiple-vehicle crash at Meadowvale.

The crash happened yesterday about noon at the Bundaberg-Lowmead Rd and Quinns Rd intersection.

The 67-year-old woman was trapped in one of the vehicles for some time before emergency services were able to extract her.

She suffered fractures to her lower limbs and wrist.

She was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of that same vehicle, a 65-year-old man, suffered chest injuries and was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
