A WOMAN and three children have survived a car rollover in south-east Queensland.

A mother in her early 30s was driving north along Beaudesert- Beenleigh Rd at Birnam, 15km north-west of Beaudesert, with the three children when her car left the road and rolled several times.

Suffering serious chest injuries after being thrown from the car, the woman was flown by the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The three children, all under five, received only minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
