Write down your New Year's goals then act says life coach
THE first step to achieving your 2013 resolutions is to write them down.
This is the advice from Rockhampton's Leeann Kime whose own goals will become reality in 2013 when she launches a new self development aspect of her business Well Beyond Yoga.
Ms Kime said the self development workshops being launched were all about turning dreams into reality.
"A dream stays a dream unless you do something about it," she said.
"A coach is all about making the plan to bring it into reality."
Ms Kime said the first step was to put your goals down on paper, making them more likely to become reality.
Taking steps toward your goal on a daily basis was the next important aspect of bringing it to life.
Ms Kime also recommended writing a daily list of three feelings you'd like to experience during the day.
"Every morning when I leave the house, I write a list of the qualities I want to experience," Ms Kime said.
"It's like shining a spotlight on those qualities."
Ms Kime said the final steps were to be grateful for what you had in your life, take care of yourself and, most of all, have fun.
"The reward for me is watching people grow and change and achieve their full potential," she said.
Ms Kime's parting piece of advice was to never give up on your dreams especially if they are something you are passionate about.
