Youths in frame for car thefts

SIX cars were broken into on Monday night during a crime spree in North Rockhampton.

Two vehicles were entered in the Norman Gardens suburb, on Springfield Dr and Lambourne Av.

Four cars were also broken into in the Kawana area.

Sergeant Nick Williams, of Rockhampton property crime unit, said police had been given a description of three males believed to have committed break-and-enters between 2.30am and 3am.

Patrols were conducted of the area, but police failed to locate the offenders.

Meanwhile, three juveniles were also charged yesterday for property crime in three separate incidents.

A 13-year-old male was charged with a break-and-enter into premises, a committed indictable offence and stealing, while a 14-year-old male was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and a 21-year-old male was charged with burglary.
